About the event
On October 3rd, 2025, Speak to My Soul will host its fall relaunch exhibit, The Truth About Us — a living, immersive exhibition inspired by James Baldwin’s words: “The poets (by which I mean all artists) are finally the only people who know the truth about us.”
This free event will feature live performances, music, and visual art, weaving together the talents of Speak to My Soul’s in-house artists. Guests will experience a flow of performances with opening remarks by Dr. Amber Sessoms. It is both a celebration of artistry and a declaration of truth, freedom, and collective liberation.
